BACKFLOW PREVENTERS
Backflow Preventers are fitted to a drainage outlet to prevent discharged water from re-entering the drainage system and potentially flooding crops. Manufactured with gasketed PVC flaps and stainless steel hardware, the Backflow Preventer is a step up from standard flap gates.
GLDP’s Backflow Preventers are available in a range of designs and sizes, and are backed by spec & installation drawings and a 1 year warranty.
Models are available to fit various applications:
- Flanged to fit an existing corrugated HDPE outlet (Field Assembly)
- Welded to a length of corrugated HDPE pipe, for new installations (Flap Assembly)
- Inline models available to allow for upstream installations. Cleanout pipes (optional) allow for easy removal of debris.
- Models to fit pipe diameters of 4 inches – 24 inches (100mm – 600mm I.D)
