Water Control Structures
Great Lakes Drainage Products offers an easy-to-use system for controlled drainage. Our inline Water Control Structure includes PVC stop logs, which can be adjusted to hold back water to a desired height, or removed entirely, to allow unrestricted drainage.
Backflow Preventers
Backflow Preventers are fitted to a drainage outlet to prevent discharged water from re-entering the drainage system and potentially flooding crops. Manufactured with gasketed PVC flaps and stainless steel hardware, the Backflow Preventer is a step up from standard flap gates.
Rodent Grates
Keep pesky rodents and small animals from entering an outlet and blocking or damaging your drainage system with Great Lakes Drainage Products' Rodent Grates. These durable, powder coated grates provide an easy installation and peace of mind, at a fair price.
HDPE Slide Valves
When a spill happens, be ready to shut off your drainage system completely, with our Slide Valve. This product uses a stainless steel plate that sits just above the drainage pipe when not in use. When drainage shut off is required, use the stainless steel handle to slide the plate into the lower gasketed slot, creating a sealed wall between your spill, and the watershed. These valves are available with PVC or HDPE stubs, and also come in a wall-mount option.
Light Duty Steel Grates
Our Light Duty Steel Grates are perfect for use in greenspaces, such as backyards and golf courses. They're simple, durable, and powder coated to resist damaging rust. These grates are available in 4 to 18 inch sizes.
Heavy Duty Steel Grates
GLDP's Heavy Duty Steel Grates are constructed of .25 inch gauge steel, and powder coated for a long life. They're tough enough to handle vehicular traffic. These grates are available in 4 to 24 inch sizes.
We also offer larger diameter Heavy Duty Steel Grates, that are coated in primer and range from 30 to 60 inch diameter.
Steel Cage Grates
Our cage grates provide peace of mind by preventing large debris, animals and children from entering vertical pipes and basins. These cage grates are primer coated and available in 15 to 36 inch sizes.
Steel Catch Basin Grates
Our Steel Catch Basin Grates are an excellent option for large diameter catch basins and vertical pipes that require a durable covering. Custom sizes are available.
Tile Outlet Signs & Custom signs
GLDP's Tile Outlet Signs are durable, bold, and constructed from thick HDPE plastic sheet, to ensure resistance to weather and sun damage. These signs are 8 inches square. Other sizes and custom lettering are available upon request. Sign size and price may change with custom orders.
Tile Prods
Locate tile and subsurface structures with ease, using our stainless steel tile prods. We designed a tip, slightly larger in diameter than the shaft in order to reduce resistance, and make your job easier. Our tips are also replaceable, and available in round and pointed tips.
Pipe Restrainers
Pipe restrainers are particularly useful when installing pipe on slopes and uneven surfaces. These restrainers help to ensure pipes maintain a tight fit as time passes. This product is constructed of HDPE collars that fit into the ribs of HDPE pipe, and are fastened together with stainless steel threaded rods. Custom sizes are available.
